HG is the acronym for Holy Grail, and Holy Grail Mineral Makeup is something that means after a long series of looking for the perfect mineral makeup for you, that works perfectly just for you!

I’m just wondering what each of us’ HG mineral makeup are.

I’m very interested to know, your HG mineral products - let me start!

1. HG Mineral Foundation - err alot? Monave though has been consistent over time!
2. HG Mineral Finishing Powder ( Oil Control or what ) - err also alot! But Larenim has been with me the longest!
3. HG Mineral Primer - I haven’t really experienced the perfect mineral primer yet.
4. HG Mineral Blush - I can’t pinpoint yet, but Pure Anada seems very promising
5. HG Mineral Eyeshadow ( brands, if there are ) - still on the lookout. With so much brands, it just gets harder every single day! haha!

I’d love to know! Leave your answers via our comments and let’s see what you love!

Definitely Meow Cosmetics Pampered Puss foundation. It is matte, feels great, and I finally found an EXACT color match. Love it.

For eyeshadows - definitely everything at Aromaleigh :) LOL

For blush, probably Aromaleigh’s Verve… but I like Meow’s SkinnyDippers for contouring the cheek.

    1. My HG mineral foundation would have to be Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals.

    2. My HG finishing powder is Mineral Veil by Bare Escentuals. It really controls my oily t-zone area.

    3. My HG mineral primer would have to be Bare Escentuals Prime Time Primer. I know its not in mineral form, but the ingredients are friendly and not harsh to the skin and it has some mineral stuff/ ingredients in it…

    4. My HG mineral blush is lovley by Bare Escentuals. This blush is sort of like a tawny rose color. It is really beautiful, and it flatters all skin tones.

    5. My HG mineral eyeshadow is Azure by Bare Escentuals. This eyeshadow is a beautiful shade of teal blue with lots of glitter in it. It really makes my brown eyes pop. I really love all of Bare Escentuals eyeshadows, there are so many different pretty colors.

I am a Bare Escentuals kinda girl haha *-*

I love the Mineral Silk “Suck It Up” for my Oily Skin I use it as a primer before my foundation. I also am in love with there concealer called The Eraser. It doesnt leave my underyes lighter than the rest of my face and it works great on red spots.

So far, taking the lead is Pure Anada. I can’t say enough about Pure Anada! I’m going to write a review (with photos) about it very soon in my blog, so I hope their name gets around more because they’ve done a fantastic job creating the perfect mineral makeup line!

my skin is deep golden, can never understand when its called olive. i loved pure luxe until i tried oceanmist, which looked bright marigold ( orangey yellow) in jar but brought a liveliness to skin that made all others appear gray. also, i would prob love jane iredale if i could afford
blush: i found a perfect shade of blush ( peach melba) by isadora deeply discounted at the drugstore but no longer sold at walgreens and way to high priced online. besides that i like the alima shimmer blushes for highlighting
primer i like the pure luxe CREAm eraser
finishing powder pure luxe pure luxury
concealer pure luxe cream foundation or alison raffaele or jane iredale - the one with the brush applicator
eyeshadows: Fyrinnae for the very deep tones that some use only as liner but i use for smoky effects, alima for clean shimmer that isnt too shimmery
    lipsticks- silk naturals definitely

I’m definitely a stick-to-one kind of person, if I’ve found my favorite, I don’t go looking for anything else.

HG Foundie - still Monave Sandra (diba I hoarded? :) ). I just mix it tho with a little BE Warmth to give me that tanned look. It never fails for all those parties and events.
HG Finishing Powder - BE feather light mineral veil. Gives off a little shimmer for a night out.
HG Blush - My favorite would have to be Luminaire Mona Lisa or BE True. Its got this nice peachy sheen that goes well with morena skin.
No favorites for the others :)

    1. I bounce between Meow’s Inquisitive Siamese & Aromaleigh’s 1YL Glissade
    2. Aromaleigh’s Clear ultra Resolution Finishing Powder! It gives me a porcelain like look.
    3. I don’t use a primer
    4. Aromaleigh’s Corset
    5. Aromaleigh’s eye shadows
    6. Aromaleigh’s Gel eyeliners are my ultimate perfect eye liners! You have to try them!

    1. HG Mineral Foundation - hands down MONAVE
    2. HG Mineral Finishing Powder - ELLANA has a smooth velvety finish that’s really nice on the skin; LUMIERE keeps the oilies out
    3. HG Mineral Primer - LUMIERE
    4. HG Mineral Blush - it’s a tie between VAL and BLUSCHE
    5. HG Mineral Eyeshadow - does lidwashes count? MONAVE talaga

  10. Kay - September 28th, 2008 at 5:32 am

    1. HG Mineral Foundation - Everyday Minerals in light olive or golden medium in the summer (asian skin. Love it! Love it! I used the EDM minerals flat top brush, and it feels like butter.
    2. HG Mineral Finishing Powder ( Oil Control or what ) - Jurlique silk rose finishing powder (I have oily skin, Jurlique does not give you a perfect finish without the powdery look)
    3. HG Mineral Primer - Using Vitamins Primer from Mad Minerals for now, it’s okay good enough.
    4. HG Mineral Blush - Not found one yet and I have tried many… but Vanora Blush from Ocean Mist Cosmetics is really pretty, only problem is, it has some talc
    5. HG Mineral Eyeshadow ( brands, if there are ) - For everyday work look, I love love love Medium Mocha and Light Mocha from Beauty from the Earth.
