I don’t know, but everytime I check out Alima‘s new releases for mineral eyeshadows, I can’t help but be appealed on how soft focus their shades are, totally safe, simple, but stunning nonetheless.
Maybe it’s because they’ve taken their inspiration from nature. This time, they expressed their love for rivers with their Rivers Collection.
Danube – Johann Strauss characterized the Danube as “blue” in a waltz. This gorgeous matte blue is a soft, denim-like shade, as wearable as your favorite jeans.
Nile – although it flows through desert, the banks of the Nile are a verdant green. This stunning shimmer combines that green with a hint of gold sparkle.
Amazon – home to one-third of the species of the world, the Amazon runs through the heart of the world’s largest rainforest. This sparkling taupe shade is evocative of the waters in the rainy season.
Thames – the River Thames is a gem amidst the urban landscape of London. Alima’s Thames is the sparkling, silver-grey of the river’s surface on an overcast day.
The Rivers Collection is available for $25 (a $36 value), and $2 from the sale of each set will be donated to the Global Fund for Women.
They’re so cooling to the eye, so I definitely am going to get me a set for this!
What do you think? I think it’s the perfect eyeshadow for such weather. Cold, but calm. Still no reason to skip on mineral makeup, and mineral eyeshadows!
Have a great weekend, ladies and gentlemen!
