Top Dermatologist Gives Thumbs Up To Mineral Makeup

Dr. Linder and me!

Looks like we’re on the right track, my dear readers!

From the PCA Skin luncheon awhile ago, me and Phoebe were able to get to know Dr. Jennifer Linder, one of the top dermatologists in the U.S. It was a great experience being educated casually by a skin expert, as we learned alot about skin care, acne, anti-aging, and peels. I could feel her passion in her craft, dermatology, as she explained in a technical yet very understandable ( easy understanding, I tell ya! ) manner on how acne forms, and all that.

When the subject of mineral makeup was mentioned by Phoebe, we got an affirmative from Dr. Linder, as she told us that mineral makeup is indeed very very good for acne-prone skin, as it would not clog pores, and would not aggravate the acne condition. She tells us that she is a mineral makeup user herself, and also adds a helpful advise, to be very careful in choosing our mineral makeup - to check the ingredients carefully, as talc is considered a mineral but can clog pores, so it is best to choose mineral makeup without any talc in it.

Looks like us mineral makeup users are indeed doing the right thing in taking care of our skin by using mineral makeup! I’m so glad!

Thanks for the information. I’m suffering from acne problem for a couple of years. I have applied a lot many things but all in vain. Hopefully mineral makeup will solve my problem.
