Playing With Mineral Makeup : Aromaleigh Sonic Rocks

One night, my fellow beauty bloggers and I were practicing some colorful eye makeup, and of course, pigments are the most vibrant eye colors, as mineral eyeshadows are the best in terms of color payoff and affordability!

Eyes still undone, but men, take a look at those colors!

For trying out the parrot look, we opted to try Aromaleigh‘s Sonic Rocks. They’re highly pigmented, their colors are bright, but just one thing – I hope they’d lose the glitters since they fall off after application that somewhat makes the colors on the eyes lose its lustre. Otherwise, the colors are really, really fantastic. They’re very very pigmented even if applied dry. We know that it’s a challenge to work with wet mineral eyeshadows, so we would want something really pigmented even if they’re dry.

Jheng also tells me that Beauty of the Earth mineral shadows are must-try. Now, I’m busy prepping for my makeup class finals photoshoot this Saturday, rummaging all the mineral eyeshadows I have to get that perfect colored eye makeup look!

Wish me luck!

Yes, the sonic rocks are great! I have FlowersOfRomance, BackInBlack, FunkyTown and Endlesssea. I also recommend that you try the Sonic Rocks Rouge. I have 2 of those, Wildflower and Sundaygirl. I love the vibrant colors.
