I am often asked by alot of people with this question, “where can I buy this brand of mineral makeup?”. Some people don’t like shopping online, and prefer checking them out in stores first before buying. I think in North America, the easiest mineral makeup brand to be found is Physician’s Formula. Getting it is as easy as going to your local grocery, or drugstore , and you have your instant mineral makeup fix! Not to mention, they’re very affordable.

I was able to get hold of the mineral makeup line of Physician’s Formula ( to my glee! ), and I am in the process of reviewing each one that I have, since I got all curious about this mass-marketed mineral makeup brand!
My first product to review : their Cream Concealer. I love concealers above everything!
Here’s what they say about the Physician’s Formula Cream Concealer :
First, mineral-based, cream concealer in the mass market. Mineral formula provides ultra-lightweight feel and finish. Ultra sleek and convenient click pen applicator with built in brush for easy and professional application.
A lightweight, minimalist mineral composition that neutralizes and diminishes skin imperfections. Formulated for use on sensitive skin or breakout-prone skin. Each shade is designed for varying skin imperfections.
The concealer comes in a click pen applicator that dispenses liquid concealer. It has mineral water and mineral extracts that soothes as it covers the problem area . I comes in four shades that are just right for varying skin imperfections – Soft Yellow, Soft Green, Fair Light, and Light.
For me, I really like this. It’s a great “pen” to bring around with me when I travel, or I can pull this out from my bag inside the ladies’ room for a mess-proof concealing session. I got this in Fair Light, which is just a shade lighter than my skin tone. I roadtested it a few times, and yes, it concealed well my dark spots and zits alright! The consistency is really what I like about it – it is not too watery that I would rush to blend with my pinky finger, and not too thick, too. I applied this concealer after a layer of foundation, and finished off with another layer of foundation and finishing powder. Flawless skin is what I was able to obtain thanks to the Physician’s Formula Cream Concealer. I didn’t experience any irritation with its gentle, non-intrusive formula, which tops everything!
I just have a thought. There were concealers that don’t have applicators, and for those who are too lazy to bring a concealer brush with them, they use their pinky fingers to get some product and apply. At least, with a click pen applicator , we don’t need to use our fingers and risk contaminating the whole concealer pot. The brush tip just needs to be wiped once in a while, in my opinion!
For the price of $6.95, it is indeed a great great buy already. Not too hurtful on the pocket, yet soothing on the skin!

I used to find P.F. was always hit and miss. A great product, a not so great product. It seems they’ve changed not only packaging but product as well. Another makeup line I”ll have to revisit! Thanks for the reviews!

I guess the green is for red (acne) spots, since green cancels out red – and the yellow is for dark undereye circles..
I have tried the concealer and the multi-coloured highliter for the face. Fantastic. Brightens up my face better than anything else. Excellent product and i’m 50! concearer is fantastic too. I just bought the Covertox 10 foundation…looks great.
