Last Saturday, it was my first day in makeup school, and just the night before, I was all restless checking all the makeup I had. I found out that 1/3 of the stuff I had were traditional makeup, and 2/3 were mineral makeup. For the record, for over a year now, I’ve been using only mineral makeup as foundation, finishing powder, and blush. There are select ( very ) moments wherein I would try non-mineral eyeshadows ( such as MAC ), and I would shop for non-mineral lipstick sometimes just because I love the shade. The bottomline is, I’ve been very strict in using mineral makeup for my complexion, at least minerals, are first to touch my skin. My skin is far from perfect, and for over a year now, full coverage mineral foundation has simply been heaven sent. The likes of Monave, J.Lynne, Dreamworld, Milan Minerals, Cosminology, and more mineral foundations that I will encounter in my journey with mineral makeup are surely heaven-sent that it has saved me. Yes, it had saved me from my insecurity.
Going back, as much as I would like to use Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals during my class, I have bought a traditional liquid foundation ( L’Oreal True Match ) and compared both. As for coverage, L’Oreal was far heavier and fuller than Jane Iredale’s. I am still looking for that perfect liquid foundation that would offer really full coverage. I have ordered Illuminare again, as I want to experiment and try to make it work again.
For my fellow mineral makeup addicts, can you recommend me a really really good full coverage liquid mineral foundation ? I’d love to try them! It’s because as much as possible, I want to be able to use all mineral makeup for my makeup classes. If it is not possible, maybe the moment I start doing professional work! I’ve got great dreams for mineral makeup, and I want to spread the word on how great it is. For now, all my powder foundations for makeup school are in mineral form ( at least ! yay! ) - Cosminology and Urban Apothecary, and I plan to pick some other stuff along the way.
Wish me luck!

I use the Liquid Powder Mineral Makeup in Linen from Cosmetic Cosmos. I’ve attached a link for the shade Cream Beige, which I bought initially but was way too dark on me. I used a cotton swab to sample it once -never used it on my face or touched the opening with my fingers.
This is my other go-to foundation when I’m too lazy to use LaurEss Minimalist, which is my number one, HG foundation.
The coverage of this liquid mineral foundation is buildable and dries to a very soft powder finish, which eliminates the additional step of using a finishing powder. Also lasts a long time, too. I powder my face once a day, twice if its really humid outside, when I use this foundation (I do use Camellia Rose’s primer). I have combination skin with an oily t-zone that will not quit and this foundation holds up quite well. I use a MAC 187 brush to apply. Will probably work with a foundation brush as well.
I don’t know if Cosmetic Cosmos ships internationally, but if you think that the Cream Beige may be a match for you, email me your mailing address and I’ll send it to you free of charge, as I cannot return it or use it myself. Please note that I will use the least expensive method of shipment so it may take a while before you receive it. (Don’t know how long, but when I order products from Hong Kong or Japan, it takes anywhere between 1 to 3 weeks before I receive it here in California.)

Physician’s Formula makes a pretty decent full coverage liquid, but I’m not sure about your access to it.
