My Mineral Makeup Inspiration

The Second Mineral Makeup Weekend was very much fun, as expected, as seasoned mineral makeup addicts, newbies, and just curious ones visited our tent at the La Vista Santa’s Christmas Bazaar last December 15-16. It was nice seeing the other mineral makeup brand sellers that have become my friends already, such as Monica of Blusche’s brother and aunt whom Cristine and I chatted with during our in-between client makeovers.

and of course, Claudine’s grandmother Cora, who looked absolutely radiant and blooming at the age of 70. Yes, she sells Micabella here, in her salon, Hello Salon ( in Globe Telecom Plaza, Pioneer ). She is a brow expert, that with one look, she gave me suggestions on how to improve my brows to give it a more “seductive appeal ” since mine looked normal and flat, and I was told by Claudine and Dani ( Cora’s grand daughters ) to ask Tita Cora to do my brows ,but alas, she was very busy doing mineral makeovers on her clients, as I could hear her passionate opinions about mineral makeup, that really impressed me. She would tell her clients that mineral makeup is healthy makeup that would spare them from getting their skin damaged in the long run, and such, and I could see her selling alot!

She also told me that it wasn’t all about sales. She told me that what mattered most at the end of the day is the number of people whom you have made aware of mineral makeup – that would change their lives and lifestyle. I was super inspired with what she said because she seemed so passionate, believing in mineral makeup so much. Just looking at her, so beautiful, with positive and radiant vibes flying over, well, it made me so lucky to be on the booth next to hers!

Before we parted ways during Day 2, I bought a Micabella Eye Primer from her, that I would be reviewing in a few days’ time. I’ve been looking for a good eye primer for the longest time, and I hope that this would do good! When Tin said her goodbye, she told Tita Cora, ” I wish I would grow old just like you” Dang, she just looked so beautiful! She surprised us by beaming, “No, grow young like me! Think positive!”

Until now, the thought still lingers my mind. I am all the more inspired to blog, and research about mineral makeup learning that there are people like Tita Cora who truly believe in it and selflessly tell the world that they love mineral makeup!
