First of all, happy new year my lovelies!
My deepest apologies to my readers for I have been quiet lately. I have been through a lot of things lately and now, I am currently in my next journey for the year 2009 - makeup school!
Yes, I’m in another makeup school, and I’m taking up something that would further polish my skills in bridal makeup. I must say, that I’m in love with bridal makeup, I want every woman in the world looking luminous, fresh, and radiant with happiness!
Going back, can I tell you about what happened on day one?
I met alot of girls, and of course, we talked about the syllabus and materials needed. I was so excited as my teacher seemed to be an expert in eyebrows because it is definitely a makeup artist’s obsession - to perfect eyebrows. Various makeup tricks , specially for the eyes, are also going to be taught, that excited me all the more!
Anyway, when he mentioned materials, I saw something like “dusting powder”. He pulled out pigment-looking pots and explained that they were not macro-glitters. He swiped them at the back of his hands, and voila, it was definitely something familiar - they looked like the multipurpose minerals that we all use, us mineral makeup lovers!
I was so happy that I was able to cross out that requirement on my to-buy list because of the expenses - I am simply trying to cut back! He saw quite a collection of mine as I brought all of my Monave multi-purpose minerals just in case I would be short of colors for my course.
So, I’ll definitely be using multi-purpose minerals for a couple of months, hopefully, Id get to master them!
Of course , I’d be sharing the tricks here!
Hey, it’s so nice to be back! Til my next entry!
