They call it eyeshadow-liner. They call it dual-purpose. I call it heaven-sent! Why? Well, there are tons of reasons! Read on.
First, the eyeshadow and eyeliner in one we are talking about takes in form of minerals that look like loose powder. To use as an eyeshadow, just use an eyeshadow brush to get some product, apply, and you’re ready to go. Darker shades would be perfect for smokey eye application, to be applied below the crease area.
So what about its use as an eyeliner? Well, you would need this brush to apply these minerals as eyeliner :
An eyeliner brush. An addon of liner sealer would be great, like Paula Dorf’s Transformer.
You can apply it dry, or wet. Apply it dry, and it looks like pencil eyeliner finish. Apply it wet, and it looks like liquid eyeliner finish. To apply it wet, mix water, or eyeliner sealer to the minerals, mix well, then carefully apply the eyeliner along the lash line.
One great thing about having this eyeshadow and eyeliner in one with you, which takes in form of colored mica , is that they last for a long time. In my previous entries, I have stated that minerals have unlimited shelf lives unless they’re contaminated, so these would really last you a long time. You only use a small amount of product for this, so you get to save alot! Another great thing is that, you only “wet” the minerals when you want to use them, so they don’t dry up as fast like liquid eyeliners. Use as you please, as they say!
Those are the reasons why, I love eyeliner-shadows!
