[...] With the previous shades that I’ve tried, they were too brown or too light on me that I had to tweak shades to be able to achieve my desired shade. I’m not a big fan of tweaking colors since I’m always on the go, so it’s really comforting just to have one shade, in one pot to use for everyday. As I tried Medium Golden by Pure Anada, the tone of yellow was just right on me, it wasn’t brown on me, it was just a medium-yellow tone on me that was just right. As for the shade, this is definitely for those who use medium shades like Monave’s Saturnina or Bare Escentual’s Medium Beige ( with golden undertones ). With my paler valor this season, I’ve switched back into being a user of light-medium shades, so this was a bit dark on me. But that does not mean that I won’t be able to use it because summer’s not so far away! In fact, I still wear it nowadays whenever I feel like I want to look tanned. Totally works because of my tricky arms ( which are tanned all year ) [...]

It’s hard to see the colours.. but it still looks nice. Do they have darker tones?

Thanks a lot for featuring Pure Anada! =) I can’t stop raving about it…got my samples today…love the coverage. for some reason mountain sunset was kind of “orangey” on me while the soft wheat was “beigy”…fortunately, I found my match with Amber Honey. Golden harvest was a close match but with amber honey was just perfect, yey! thanks very much for introducing me to Pure Anada! =)

Ok, so I was able to test out Golden Harvest all afternoon today and I was wrong! This is actually a lot closer in shade than Soft Wheat! Right now, because I have a light tan, the color is bit off. But I know that come Winter this would be my perfect shade. Golden Harvest is not too yellow at all. I am so in shock that I almost completely over-looked Golden Harvest! I am so happy that I gave it a chance. I am going to place a full size order for this very soon! Yay! Thanks Candace!

Yes! I think that idea would work. Over the three samples you sent me, Soft Wheat comes the closest. But I’m just looking at The Pure Boutique website right now and I noticed Mountain Sunset. For some reason I don’t remember seeing this before, not sure if it’s a new shade. That might be something I should try first.

Out of the 3 samples I rec’d (Golden Harvest, Flaxen Field, and Soft Wheat) Soft Wheat came the closest. But like I said, it didn’t have enough yellow in it. Have yet to to try Golden Harvest, but just looking at it, it looks like it would be too light on me. I will test drive this shade today since I won’t be really going anywhere. But I wonder if Mountain Sunset would be an even closer match since it is described as “warm gold” shade. Not sure if it will be too dark though. I really thought Flaxen Field would be a good match, but it’s just too ‘cool’ for my slightly tanned Summer skin and I don’t have any olive in my skin. I am going to try Mountain Sunset first and see how that is.

Hi auau! well that’s what my camera got me! they’re lighter in person. I think the colors were saturated. they’re ok for Asian skin tones

Hi Candace, if you read this, yes. It’d be good to have a darker foundation than Golden Harvest with yellow tones. I’m from Singapore which is right above the equator. Thus, although I am Chinese with the typical yellow/sallow undertones, I am more of a darker medium. I have been hesitating to order the samples from Anada because I don’t really see any suitable shade. Golden Harvest would be too light for me. Cheers!

I can’t tell you how honored I feel to read such wonderful reviews about our line.
With the surge of sampling that has been taking place (thanks to the beauty blogs!), we have discovered a missing link in our foundation shades!

We have made the new “Golden Harvest” for light yellow skin tones. Would it be safe to make a color with the same “depth” as our Soft Wheat, but with more yellow undertones?

I was informed that Candace of Pure Anada can custom-blend a shade, what’s exciting is she does this with precision. What more can we ask for from such a company that makes one of the best, if not the most outstanding foundation by far

oh, the blushes stay longer than most brands too.
