I love this tip! I've been playing around and came up with a similar routine that gives the same results.

If the company has a sheer liquid base rather than a full coverage liquid base, I find that if I apply that, then conceal, then apply a pressed base over that, spritz the hydrating mist and...ta-da perfect porcelain complexion!

As far as some mineral makeup being too reflective... look for a brand that has less mica - a good friend of mine is a makeup artist that does everything from weddings to local news anchors to fashion shoots - she got me hooked on what she always uses on her clients - glominerals. It makes your skin look like satin instead of sparkly or shiny.

thanks for the wonderful tip. I'm just wondering if you could suggest what brands you would use for such a look.
I would sometimes have problems with mmu being too reflective (shiny face in photos), especially if flash is used.

You should try MAC Fix+. Spray some onto your brush and then dip it onto the foundation. It works great!
