You can get them from restaurant supply stores - they're 5" square sheets that I use to tap out my powder and swirl. Gives me plenty of room (I'm a klutz; my aim isn't so great, LOL) to swirl, and when I'm done, just throw the sheet away! I think the buff palette looks like something you could make at one of those do it yourself pottery places. Currently I use a tiny metal bowl or the lid of my mmu. I'm probably odd, but I apply moisturizer, let it sink in, and then apply my eyeshadow first, before I put on my foundation. Once my eyeshadow is on, I clean up any spills with my makeup remover. Then I can apply my foundation without the risk of it getting mussed. I think of the 3 of those, the cloth might be really useful.
