I was applying mineral foundation on my skin and I suddenly panicked because my kabuki brush, as I buffed mineral makeup on my skin, sweeped thru flaking skin! Yep, it was only now that I realized that my skin was flaking. I could not conceal them with more foundation because well, they were flakes! I could not even remove those flakes because it is a no-no to remove them, because they can cause premature hyperpigmentation.

Hi Sophie - my daughter gets chemical peels once a month for her acne and scarring. It's a PITA, but it's well worth it in the long run. If you need to wear makeup, try applying with a Beauty Blender wet (you stipple instead of buff), or mixing your foundation with oil-free moisturizer in the palm of your hand and applying as if it were moisturizer alone. Hope this helps! You're gonna love the results of the peels.
