Mineral Makeup Review : Valerie Beauty Satin Sun

Illuminator Satin Sun Finish Powder gives a subtle glow to skins lacking luminosity. This light, fluffy powder can be worn along or mixed with other powders to enhance.
Not a highly glowy finish, just gives a nice sheen.

Today, we feature a staple in my makeup kit, the Valerie Satin Sun.

Back when I was in the early stages of my mineral makeup addiction, I often hear of the famous Satin Sun. Every one, from early adults to the young-at-heart, are all raving about it. They say, it gives such a nice glow to your skin. Glows, I like them! My skin used to be dull and seemed so lifeless, so glows are my best friend. Glows not glitter okay? There is a big difference. Glows are micro, whereas glitters are MACRO. Think of them as dot and circle.

Boy, wasn’t I disappointed! It works! You can apply alone as a blush, hi-lighter (nose, brow bone), or on top of blush. In the pot, it looks way gorgeous already, and on skin, it looks stunning. It is a subtle kind of glow, a healthy glow we all want to achieve, not chunky-glittery-disco scary.

I can always count of this to me look radiant. It gives me the look of contentment, of happiness, of love?

One thing I noticed, is that, when I use this, people keep telling me: Joyce, are you in love? You are blooming!

And I would always always smile.

Mineral Makeup Girl’s Note : True enough. I can attest to the dazzling beautifying powers of Valerie Beauty’s Satin Sun. It gives out a “flesh-colored glow” that really looks natural that you’d spend a whole day thinking what product was applied to achieve that effect. I gave my bestfriend a sample of this, and she mistakenly applied it instead of a matte finishing powder, and her friend was raving on how beautiful she looked that day! In my own experience, Satin Sun has never failed to polish my looks with sophistication. I love it! It’s one one great secret weapon in my beauty kit! I am proud to say, that this is one of the indispensable minerals that I have!
