Mineral Makeup Review :Pure Luxe Erasers

pure luxe mineral makeup eraser Pure Luxe is a great mineral makeup brand, and of all their products, there are two that I can’t simply live without - the Pure Luxe Cream Eraser, and the Pure Luxe Powder Eraser.

Erasers must be Pure Luxe’s signature products, because they are very unique, and their effects on the face, simply can’t be found in other brands!

First, the cream eraser. Although it is not 100% mineral in nature because of silicone content, I’m okay with it. Why? Because as I apply it on my not - so - perfect face, it somehow smoothens my imperfections, blurs out my harsh features ( from scars ) and lift up some depressed ones (a product of teenage acne ). It is the perfect makeup base, that I can’t simply live without. I get a small product, and apply it on my face like moisturizer, but I don’t rub it in, I just simply smooth it on my skin. It is imperative to have a good makeup base for makeup to glide better and more smoothly, and even fill in depressed scars and make pores appear smaller. It also helps mineral makeup, or any makeup for that matter, stay longer. Great! The Cream Eraser also has other variants for color correcting properties in green, yellow, etc., but I prefer the original shade ( colorless ). You know what? There was a period wherein I ran out of Pure Luxe Cream Eraser and I just didn’t look the same, and I was in agony for a few weeks, until my new supply arrived. Good thing , I had with me my Powder Eraser, which lessened my problems.

Now, the Powder Eraser is 100% mineral. The great thing about the Pure Luxe Powder Eraser that it is an all-in-one product. It makes a great makeup base if you don’t have Cream Eraser ( a great substitute ). It blurred out my pores, softened the look of my scars ( since scars have the tendency to have harsh edges ) - really, it softened my face a whole lot. It’s also a great oil control primer, to be applied a sheer layer before applying foundation. If I apply powder eraser on the half of my face, the half of my face definitely looks smoother, and complexion more refined by 100% ! Sometimes, when I am in a hurry, I also use this as finishing powder right after I finished applying all my makeup, or I bring it with me for touchups. The shades of Powder Eraser are okay for everyone - I am fair skinned ( BE Light ) but I can use both the Original formula ( white, transluscent ) and Medium ( brownish, but it doesn’t darken my foundation in any way since it’s very sheer. )

Overall, these are indispensable items in my vanity kit. Without these, I definitely feel incomplete. Everyone should try it, because I feel that they are Pure Luxe’s signature products, and they truly won’t disappoint!

    Hi,
If you were to choose between the cream or powder only, which would you choose? I’m thinking of just buying the one or the other. :)
    Thanks!
