I’ve been exploring mineral makeup for people on the go lately, for I’ve been running around, and doing stuff. I was able to receive the Physician’s Formula Talc Free Matte Finishing Veil in Transluscent for review, and this is my take on it :
At first look, I actually liked it! The brush applicator that is connected to the veil itself is one great advantage for people on the go. My friends have been asking about products like these! Well, there are other brands that offer this kind of feature, but one thing that makes Physician’s Formula stands out is…the miniature mirror that is attached on the lid! I mean, ever since I have made the big switch to mineral makeup, I’ve been bringing pots with me, as I have preferred using loose minerals. Now, this is loose mineral, with a mirror! I’m really, really glad that they have that! Haha!
First, I had to invert the product and tap to get some product out. It was very easy applying to my skin after I’ve applied my foundation and blush. I was very happy to see that as the veil is being sweeped on my face, my face slowly started to get all flawless, incredibly smooth, and glowing. The staying power is also very good, that it helped keep my oilies at bay as I shopped the whole afternoon away, looking and feeling good! It didn’t make me itch a bit, as well, which is a great thing!
The Physician’s Formula Talc Free Matte Finishing Veil is also great for retouching, just in case you need to do so. It’s very handy, it fits right in your bag, and you just tap some product out ( just be careful not to put it in your bag inverted, lest, you can lose alot of product! ), brush some minerals into your skin, close the lid, and you’re ready to go! It’s very, very convenient. I love it, and it’s now my new finishing veil that I always bring with me when I go out ( you never know when you need to retouch! ).
To end this entry, let me just share my picture last Sunday that I used Physician’s Formula Talc Free Matte Finishing Veil as my well, finishing powder! Love the glow.
