I am just so fond of full coverage foundations, and one thing special about mineral makeup is that its full coverage foundations give all the coverage I need, but no one would really find out that I’ve stacked alot of layers on my skin already! If this world is a sketchpad, they are definitely erasers! In other words, full coverage mineral foundation is miraculous!

Today, I was to do fieldwork, so I had to wear nice makeup! ( Haha! ) So, I was fiddling through my mineral makeup collection and saw a sample size of Milan Minerals foundation in Kianna that I bought a month ago. I thought, why not give it a try!

As I applied the foundation on my skin using my trusty Monave Flat Top Bronzer Brush, I could see that the coverage was indeed full, and it gave me a whole new layer of flawless skin. To compare it with Monave, they’re about the same in extent of coverage, with Monave being matte and creamy, and with Milan creamy, and slightly luminous. I loved the glow that Milan gave me!

I was happy the effect that Milan gave my skin, as I earned compliments from my sister and clients ( oh, what makeup are you wearing? It looks so great! ). For those who are extremely oily like mine, I would advise you to wear a very good oil control primer to prolong the staying power of Milan. Oil at Bay, also by Milan, is an excellent oil control primer to be worn under the foundation. I was running out of time in the morning , as I just applied a thin sweep of silica on my skin, and my makeup lasted a good 5-6 hours.

When I checked again the website of Milan, in each foundation shade, there is something typed in under which says, “Latin Beauty Shade Selection,” “Asian Beauty Shade Selection,” “Black Beauty Shade Selection,” which is so helpful for us in choosing our shades!

To sum up, Milan foundation is a fabulous full coverage mineral foundation, that gives you an added glow. I would recommend it for those who are in dire need of coverage like me!
