Mineral Makeup Review : Larenim Invisi-Pore

In the world of mineral makeup, there is such a thing as the battle of the best mineral finishing powder! and well, Larenim Mineral Silk just happens to be one of my top choices. I wonder, would Larenim Invisi-pore actually live up to Mineral Silk? I finally know now!

It actually took me awhile to get full pots of these because I was so spoiled with the dewy, exceptionally flawless finish of Mineral Silk. I thought that Mineral Silk was one of the best and I couldn’t find better with the bunch of great finishing powders that I have here that I ignored Invisi-pore, then, I decided because of requests , that it was indeed a try.

It was a busy day for me as I accompanied my parents to some business thing. As I applied my mineral makeup routine, I skipped the Pure Luxe Powder Eraser for shrinking the pores and Larenim Mineral Silk for finishing - and I used Larenim Invisi-pore for that. At first, I didn’t see the difference. Oh-kay, off we go, I can’t stay 5 more minutes staring at myself in the mirror!

Well, it’s as if I wouldn’t check myself - I would, I would! I actually whipped up a compact mirror that I had with me in the car and noticed that my face looked smooth and very even. I liked it. I liked it more when the person I met for business actually told me that I was blooming and liked my skin that day , and even asked what I was using! My mom was telling me how that person kept staring at me. Wow, such great confidence boost!

To sum up? The oil control properties are very much the same with Larenim Mineral Silk and Larenim Invisi-pore. The difference lies in the extra value added that Invisi-pore gives - the added eveness of the complexion. Did it actually shrink my pores? I really did not notice, because I was more awed with how even my skin looked, maybe evenness of the skin could equate to less “bumps” and smaller pores. Overall, I’m very very pleased with this product and will repurchase - for myself! Haha! Mineral makeup sure always saves me from the Holiday crams! I can’t wait to party, then!

Ingredients: Mica, Zinc Oxide, Silica (Amorphous), Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Boron Nitride.
