Mineral Makeup Review : J.Lynne Minerals Foundation

Here is a review of J.Lynne Minerals‘ foundation. I’ve always been on the lookout for great foundations because of my coverage issues, that I just can’t wear super light, or sheer coverage makeup because of my imperfections. Thank God for mineral makeup, I am able to transform my problem areas to nonexistent flaws that my friends always doubt or feel that I am fooling them when I claim that I have problem skin.

As I giddily checked out Aileen‘s package, I went on to try J.Lynne‘s foundation in a snap. I found out that I am able to wear both I/L Warm and I/L Golden. For reference, I use Bare Escentuals in Light, Hyeyeon in Monave, Y3 in Valerie Beauty, and Golden Glow ( or sometimes, Warm Silk ) in Jane Iredale. . My shade is somewhat medium, with yellow undertones that can tolerate yellowish beige tones, so Warm was still okay. I’ve received Light Warm during the summer, and felt that it was my summer shade.

During the summer, I set aside my full coverage foundations for it was uncomfortable wearing makeup when it was scorching hot. I was looking for that mineral foundation that is light enough not to make me feel uncomfortable and icky, but I also desperately needed coverage, that I can’t wear super-light foundations as well. J.Lynne did beautifully as it served as my medium-coverage foundation for the summer, covered my problem areas, without any itchies. It also looked flawless on me, that I really really liked! Needless to say, J.Lynne saved my summer look! Also, the staying power is superb. Needless to say, J.Lynne earns a spot in my top 5 mineral foundations!

J. Lynne is the perfect foundation for those who need the greatest coverage, yet don’t like wearing full coverage makeup all the time. This is perfect for everyday use for people like me who have coverage issues. This is heavy enough that it can cover alot of imperfections already, but the type that you won’t mind not setting aside during the summer. For the record, I really do prefer full coverage, or heavy coverage foundations, and this is one of my ‘everyday’ medium coverage mineral makeup already. For those who prefer light coverage on the other hand, this is the perfect, just-right heavy coverage for you to have whenever you need to attend a formal event that would require such kind of makeup, if you are iffy about heavy coverage mineral makeup out there.
