First things first, some good news!

Alison Raffaele has reformulated its products!

All of the new and reformulated products in the Alison Raffaele line are free of parabens, talc, mineral oil, gluten and fragrances. The new products are infused with Alison’s proprietary, anti-oxidant “Frutta di Vita” complex. Based on three key ingredients, pomegranate, goji berry and resveratrol, these powerful, natural ingredients shield the skin from harmful free radicals produced by environmental factors such as the sun, pollution, and stress. .

A big whoopee for that! That is indeed good news! Aside from weeding out the unneeded ingredients, Alison Raffaele’s products have a boost of antioxidants as well! I’m quite anxious to try out their line because they claim to have a medium coverage liquid mineral foundation called Reality Base Foundation.

Well, aside from that, Alison Raffaele also launches two new primers for two skin types - one for the acne-prone and one who targets anti-aging. One is called Acne Response Primer with SPF 15, that helps makeup stay longer on your skin, glide in easier, as well as attempt to heal your zits,

I would really want to try the Acne Response Primer for I have been battling acne for the longest time already. I’m not actually expecting my acne to clear up with this product, but it would probably be more forgiving if I wore this to prevent my acne from getting aggravated. Mineral makeup per se, has already helped my acne not worsen for the past year and I am so thankful for discovering mineral makeup.
