In my last entry, I have failed to provide a photo of me, using the new Lauress Minimalist Foundation.

I’ve worn Monave Foundation under it because it is my default foundation ( and only the one to hold up with this IMPOSSIBLE heat in Manila ) , but lately, the Lauress Minimalist Foundation in Pure Yellow has been deemed indispensable by me as it gives me that really flawless finish. Take note that my skin has been blotchy, and I’ve been on anti-acne regimen that my blemishes have been patchy and red. Minimalist somehow sweeps away beautifully as it saves me in photos. I’ve been attending events lately, and I need to look my best in photos, at least. So there. I hereby conclude that the Lauress Minimalist Mineral Foundation is very very photogenic and looks good in person as well. A boss of my friend told my friend, “her skin looks so good!”, and I could not believe my ears because my skin was so bad that day.

   pretty as always! however, it might be the lighting or the camera settings, but IMHO, your face looks more than a bit yellow than it should.

   Liz : I’m so dark right now ( view past post ) my neck/chest area seems to be lighter than my arms it’s a wreck right now :)) so im following the color of my arms because i want a tanned look

   Sophie, you look radiant and flawless. I believe that the Minimalist is almost the same in terms of ingredients and finish as the defunct Original formula, and I can honestly say that the Original has never failed me. It always gives this airbrushed, and as you say, photogenic look that I just rely on especially on bad skin days. Thank God for Lauress!

   Hello from Canada! I would have never guessed you were Pinay, too! I’ve been following your blog for some time now without even thinking that you might be Asian, so nevermind Filipina! I’m so happy! My current obsession is mineral makeup, but I’m not yet ready to let go of my traditional liquid foundation from Laura Mercier or eye shadows from MAC. Anyway, please keep up the good work and pls do share more pics! I would love to contribute to your blog in the future and share some of my makeup photos, that is if you even need the contribution =p
