To be totally honest, the one and only makeup brush by Bare Escentuals that I’ve loved with all my heart would be their Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush. Maximum coverage is maximum coverage, alright, as you can definitely see successful camouflaging areas from small to big, and it’s really heaven-sent.
I’m not really impressed, with their other face brushes on the other hand. Take for example, their Flawless Face Brush. I don’t like how rough the feel was on the skin. I lost faith on Bare Escentuals face brushes, but just recently, I decided to get one of them, and to my surprise, it was heaven.
Heaven indeed, with the Bare Escentuals Heavenly Face Brush. This is Bare Escentual‘s flat top brush. As compared to the other brushes, this is surprisingly very soft and velvety to the skin as one buffs this. Flat top brushes are just like kabuki brushes, only denser, and with shorter bristles, with the plus of a longer, and more comfortable handle for grip. Shorter bristles means fuller coverage, so you get to apply your foundation faster using this makeup brush.
For my review of the brush, I can’t say anything bad about it, except for the price, which would might seem prohibitive for some at $30, considering really affordable makeup brushes being sold at mineral makeup online stores, but I think the cost is just alright for this baby. This looks really sturdy, the bristles are firm, but very soft to the skin, and it saves you quality time every morning applying foundation, specially if you’re in dire need of heavy coverage.
I’ve been using this for days and I just love it! Very minimal shedding, perfectly trimmed bristles , and buffs in any kind of mineral foundation ( may it be the finely milled ones, I can load in a bit more, but for full coverage ones, I swirl just a small amount being careful of its denseness ). This makeup brush for mineral foundation is just one that I’d love to keep with me.
Bottomline? I’m back on the game with Bare Escentuals mineral makeup brushes. Seeking to check out more! Stay tuned!
