Another trick that I have learned from makeup class that can be incorporated into using mineral makeup, is how to make the face smoother, brighter, and even when skin is tired, looking dull, and uneven.
My teacher was exclaiming on the wonders of iridescent powders, on how they reflect light and create an illusion of luminosity, a totally even texture, and good skin. He demonstrated on using cake powder, and iridescent powders, mixed together, and I saw how beautiful it looked on my classmate’s complexion once it dewed up.
You can also try this at home – using your mineral foundation, mix with your mineral illuminizers. Then, buff onto skin, like normal foundation. Wait for it to dew up, and you will notice your skin to be very smooth, and luminous. The sheen will show, but I have noticed that on my classmate that I did makeup on that it did not have too much sheen, but her skin looked very, very even. The sheen would be minimal, and it would not look glittery or shimmery at all. Mineral illuminizers are very, very fine in texture, and just give that unexplainable glow. That’s what’s so nice about them!
So, we all have the weekend to try this trick, my girls! Let me know how it goes!
