Mineral makeup so hot right now that even major cosmetics/skin care companies have come up with their own mineral makeup. This includes the popular skin care brand, Neutrogena. Their mineral makeup line is called Neutrogena Shimmer Sheers, and they have mineral foundations, bronzers, and eyeshadows. I would like to focus on the Mineral Sheers foundation, because it is easy to try around products for the eyes, and for the cheeks, but it is a very challenging task to find the perfect foundation for someone. The Mineral Sheers foundation comes in a flow-through brush, that you slide in the band to get some product in your brush, as you apply. Pretty similar to a pump brush.

Checking for reviews all over the world wide web, I would say that there are mixed reviews for Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Foundation. A majority of them would want the packaging and the brush to be improved, in such that the brush would be softer, and the minerals would come out easier. There are some who are happy with the product, and felt that the light coverage that this product gives is enough for them because it is indeed “sheer”, very light on the skin, like they don’t have anything on their skin. They also love the fresh, and glowing finish of this product. Some ranted about the minerals that it didn’t give them enough coverage, and of the poor staying power.

To sum things up, Neutrogena Shimmer Sheers Foundation would be perfect for those who want light coverage, and don’t need to do alot of concealing. For those who are more into “coverage”, this would be the perfect finishing powder. It is also shimmery, that gives a fresh glow to the skin. It is also reasonably priced at $ 10, so it wouldn’t hurt the pocket so much to try this product!
