The Blush Vixen looks so excited with her new blush find : Alima Minerals’s Luminous Shimmer Blush!
My appetite for blushes is insatiable! So I was more than happy to know that a few samples from Alima are coming my way. *Clapping! *

With the blushes came a sample of their Satin Matte foundation in Jaipur (G-4), a medium golden shade. I cannot believe it really IS matte. Come on! Thanks to my oilies, it turned into a dewy glow that spells healthy skin. The finish is one of the very best I’ve tried so far. I’m actually contemplating on getting a full pot in the future.
Going back to their blushes, I was able to sample Guava, Dianthus, Sahara, Cerise and Melon (a shade of their Satin Matte blush). Just looking at the samples gave me a good impression that they won’t disappoint. Guava and Dianthus is more on the pink side, while Sahara and Cerise is more on the warm side, such that they can double as bronzer. But wait! I remember having Dahlia, a medium neutral rosy shade, lying around in my make-up box. Upon closer inspection, it’s a dead-ringer for Valerie Beauty’s O! My blush. Oh my! It’s lovely!
Alima’s blushes are sheer, at times I have to apply them twice for the color to appear. Wet application is recommended as the color stays much longer. The shimmer is understated indeed, you don’t have to worry about having disco balls for your cheeks!
