In line with my mineral makeup addiction, I also happen to be interested with skin care with natural ingredients. With that, I am in search of natural sunblock, sunblock that’s not chemically derived, but more from a natural source.
In the mineral makeup world, we know that titanium dioxide is a natural sunscreen used for our mineral foundations, moreso Colorescience’s Mineral Sunblock.

Mineral Sunblock : L’Occitane Brightening Shield

I’ve chanced upon this article about sunscreens, and it sort of alarmed me. With the plethora of products for sun protection, apparently, not all are effective enough as they claim to be.
According to environmental watchdog Environmental Working Group, they have checked 783 sunscreen products with SPF 15 and above, and claim that 84% of them don’t really do their job. Wait. 783 x 84 % = *gasp*. Continue Reading »
