Bare Escentuals Complexion Enhancers Kit

I woke up extra early today because it was my baby sister’s big day – her graduation picture day. Well, ya know I’m not a morning person for sure, but I really did try!

Here’s what I did for my baby sis ( who is not a baby anymore, I guess. ). Only the best for her – mineral makeup ! I don’t want to be hurting her baby skin that I wish was mine!

1. First, I applied moisturizer on her since her skin seemed to be dry on some areas.
2. Second, I applied a mix of Monave Hyeyeon and Caroline Concealer Foundation using a flat top brush to ensure that her foundation would stay put all throughout the day. She told me she was having a speech practice before having her shot taken, and I am not taking any chances.

I am just so fond of full coverage foundations, and one thing special about mineral makeup is that its full coverage foundations give all the coverage I need, but no one would really find out that I’ve stacked alot of layers on my skin already! Oceanmist’s Saffron Yellow Color Corrector = Good night’s sleep

Yellow is a well-known corrector for nasty dark undereye circles. When I saw this in the sample pot, I was pleasantly surprised because it is a true yellow yellow, unlike others whose color correctors were pale and not yellowy enough. I believe I am the true test when it comes to concealing the dark circles because I have the darkest circles ever, because of genes and constant late night studying, thus lack of precious sleep. I am often asked by alot of people with this question, “where can I buy this brand of mineral makeup?”. Some people don’t like shopping online, and prefer checking them out in stores first before buying. I think in North America, the easiest mineral makeup brand to be found is Physician’s Formula. Getting it is as easy as going to your local grocery, or drugstore , and you have your instant mineral makeup fix! Not to mention, they’re very affordable.

I was able to get hold of the mineral makeup line of Physician’s Formula ( to my glee! ), and I am in the process of reviewing each one that I have, since I got all curious about this mass-marketed mineral makeup brand!

Physician’s Formula Cream Concealer

Mineral makeup CAN really hide almost everything, given the right application technique. I’ve been doing makeovers for the past 6 months on people, and I have seen how mineral makeup transforms problematic skin to how-did-you-get-that gorgeous, clear glow look!

I admit that I have never done a makeover on a post-laser treated woman like this, but Jane Iredale has. This picture is included in one of Jane Iredale’s pamphlets, and I could not help but be wowed on the drastic difference of half of the woman’s face!
