We’ve written about the Valerie Beauty Pin-Up Girl Collection. The Mineral Makeup Girl Sophie raves about O! My Blush. While I love all the blushes in the Pin-Up Collection, I believe that Coy is praiseworthy, and you too will discover that it’s worth your praise.

In the Valerie Beauty website, Coy is described as the softest pink with a hint of cool sheen. Recommended for the palest skins. My skin is more medium to light golden yellow, and some blushes do not show up on my cheeks. I was skeptical about this blush, until a fellow mineral makeup addict tried it on. She had a unique glow on her cheeks, which I thought could be achieved if you used mineral makeup highlighters and illuminators. I decided to buy a sample to test it myself. Continue Reading »

Mineral Makeup For a Fresh Summer Look

Nah, this isn’t about the latest hit in music. You came to the right blog. This time I wanna share a very recent fave of mine from Milan Minerals.
Milan Minerals has gotten a lot of raves from my fellow MMU addicts. Their gel liners, a cult favorite, if I’m not mistaken, are similar to that of MAC fluidlines. They definitely have a lot of goodies to try! As I was browsing their site, a wave of frustration swept over me. I can only feast my eyes on the pics since I can’t purchase anything online because I still don’t have a credit card. On second thought, it’s a good thing ‘coz I’m unable to practice my impulse buying habits. Continue Reading »
Milan Minerals’ Pretty In Pink : The Remix
From my previous entry about Valerie Beauty’s Pinup Girl Collection, I must say that I have immensely loved EVERYTHING in the collection, but let me just put an emphasis , or feature this one-of-a-kind, great blush that they have. I love, love love it, and I don’t think that I can live without it.

Valerie Beauty Pinup Girl Collection – O! My Blush
The picture says it all. Take a look.

I want, I want, I want! The look of Miss K here in my opinion is sooo Japanese – kawaii-cute! It’s very unique, fresh, and very fun! I think this would hit big in the younger age bracket. Even I want to pull off that look. I got to try her Be My Valentine collection and it was great! She’s just so full of ideas for seasonal looks that I admire her for it! The gothic eyeliner looks so gorgeous! The eyeshadows are very interesting shades to mix and match! ![]()

Aromaleigh’s Spring Collection : You’re A Doll!

A few months ago, some PR person representing Lauren Hutton emailed me and asked if I would like to review their product, and I was quite intrigued with the literature that she has sent me with mineral makeup , infused with “water”. So, I said okay because I was intrigued with the idea. Now, here is my review of Lauren Hutton’s “Water Mineral Makeup”, Aqua Elements. Continue Reading »
Mineral Makeup Review : Lauren Hutton Aqua Elements
It’s almost been a year since I’ve met Aileen, not in the flesh, but online, considering we are continents away from each other! I met her because of her passion for mineral makeup. She is one of the first gals out there to preach the mineral makeup gospel that led to alot of gals getting hooked over mineral makeup because of its benefits, and I’m one of them! I’ve learned alot from her, and exchanged messages over application techniques, and great brands to try out. Aside from Girltalk and Mineral Makeup Reviews, she is also a popular figure at Makeuptalk. You could just imagine the legions that she has influenced to try mineral makeup! Continue Reading »
My Friend’s Mineral Makeup Addiction
As I continue to roadtest mineral makeup here, I discover more and more precious gems that are certainly for keepers, and one of them is from the brand BareFaced Minerals – the shade of Cinnabear. Whoever inspired Rhonda to come up with this shade should be worshipped. No, seriously! The picture might be a lil matte, but if you see it up close, it’s a beautiful beautiful shade ! I promise! ( I don’t usually rave without good reason *wink* )

From the BareFaced Minerals Website, Cinnabear blush is described as,
A perfect blush or bronzer. Semi-Matte finish.
My Favorite BareFaced Minerals’ Shade : Cinnabear
I have been receiving alot of feedbacks about mineral blushes not being able to stay long on oily skin. I mean, as much as alot of people want to wear mineral makeup from primer to finishing powder, one noted hindrance is the inability of blush to stay on very oily skin.
Even I have that problem. That still doesn’t stop me from applying mineral blush since I’ve permanently said goodbye to non-mineral makeup months ago, and mineral blushes are the most beautiful thing that you’d ever see on your cheeks! The way that I do it is that I apply a huge amount of blush – yes, almost clownlike, then it dews up and fades in 15 minutes, and when I check myself at the mirror an hour later, I see my blush blending with well with my foundation, like a natural flush. It doesn’t sound like fun because I always want to see myself perfect before going out, but at least, I get the blush to stay. Sometimes, during unlucky days, I look like I don’t have any blush- and it’s not a brand thing. Almost every brand I’ve tried is just like that. Sad.

Mineral Blush Won’t Stay?
