Archive for 'Thoughts of the Mineral Makeup Girl'
Let me just share a random thought that I’ve had for the day. Yes, the day never passes by without me thinking about mineral makeup *wink*. For a mineral makeup addict, or even a user, one must have at least three foundation shades.
One being a slightly lighter shade, one your current shade, and one darker shade.
The lighter shade could be a last-minute concealer that you can use just in case your concealer runs out, and a shade that you can use during the cold months when the complexion pales by a bit. I have observed that complexions tend to lighten up during the months of November and December when the weather is cold. To counter the “lightened skin” effect, great addon minerals are bronzers ( not the muddy looking ones , not too orange ) that can give some warmth to the skin.

We Need At Least 3 Mineral Makeup Foundation Shades!
We are so happy to have another addition to our awesome bunch of contributors here – I mean, more heads are definitely better than one since mineral makeup is not an objective thing to discuss – it’s very much subjective, and the “fit” varies depending on skin types, and we are glad to acknowledge that variety so that we can help everyone relate to their skin problems and mineral makeup needs.
Nikki, aside from being a mineral makeup addict, thrives in the activity called, “roadtesting samples”. Yes, she is a sample addict that wants to try all the mineral makeup possible, to find her Holy Grail – she’s that determined! She’s also leaning towards making her own , or tweaking mineral makeup with some ingredients – quite interesting, huh!
So without further ado, let me introduce you to Nikki!

Here’s another story of a mineral makeup addict that I’ve known in my journey of sharing the mineral makeup love, Joyce.
—–
A little something about me. I am Joyce. I am a self-confessed mineral makeup addict. Well, I am here to share with you my encounter with the wonderful exciting world of mineral makeup!
Like most people out there, I had my bouts with teenage acne, and although, I won, but not without scars and bruises. I am acne-free right now,( Thank you Lord ) but I do have my occasional bumps and zits and the not so flawless skin. It’s a pain looking at yourself at the mirror and seeing the unevenness of your complexion. Why cant I have it all? *sigh* Continue Reading »
Mineral Makeup Chronicles : Joyce
I’ve been dead curious about how mineral makeup are made, and when Theresa Carbonell of Babydoll Minerals offered mineral makeup classes, I registered right there and then to see mineral makeup made realtime.
I was greeted by two cheerful faces as I was first to arrive at their seminar area – a warm-hearted Theresa, whom I thought was older than me and turned out just my age ( See! We are Young! Haha! ) , and Mitzie, a very charismatic and charming business parter of Theresa’s who is also an Image Consultant. Theresa’s very passionate with her craft, alright, she started tinkering with spa ingredients since age of 16, and started up a company Kai Personal Care Collection which was bought by a company that does sub-contracting cosmetics and other beauty products. Right now, she’s busy with her Babydoll Mineral Cosmetics, developing new products to introduce to the market, and she also extends her talent and knowledge to those whoare interested to make mineral cosmetics, or even formulate their own line in the future. My Mineral Makeup Class
I’ve searched the world wide web for something to disclaim the fact that everything about mineral makeup is just a marketing ploy, and nothing substantial.
Here’s an article on Oprah.com that proves otherwise.
Mineral makeup is well appreciated of what’s not in it, rather than what’s in it.
Hi everyone! I’ve created a blog just for mineral makeup because of the drastic change in my life that it brought me. I feel more beautiful ( at least for me! ) , I feel more confident, and I’m not so scared about getting breakouts from traditional makeup, and I’m dismissing the fact that I’d get a premature case of wrinkles if I wear makeup.
See, mineral makeup is a whole different thing than the makeup you have been accustomed to use. Mineral makeup has been there for ages, but with the times now, where people are most health conscious and are wary of synthetic and not-so-good ingredients of literally everything , mineral makeup is the cosmetics counterpart of organic food. People are now more observant, and actually check the ingredients on the label of everything they find. With mineral makeup, what you need to see is the absence of preservatives, and color additives that do damage the skin in the long run.
The first few weeks will be devoted to educating our dear readers about mineral makeup, kinds of mineral makeup, and some basic application techniques. So please do stay tuned, as we update this blog thrice a week with substantial, informative, and enriching entries!
P.S. Previous entries are article archives and press releases about Mineral makeup. You may see that celebrities use mineral makeup. I’m seriously considering the thought that mineral makeup is the secret to their flawless skin! Feel free to browse informative articles written by the experts, as well as celebrity news!
The moment my skin touched mineral makeup – I knew there was no turning back. I fell in love with the way it made my skin look- flawless, smooth, healthy, and glowing. I also fell in love on the nurturing abilities it had on my skin – it didn’t clog my pores, and my skin didn’t break out from it.
Thus, a courageous move, opening up a Mineral Makeup Blog to preach the wonders of mineral makeup.
I’m just starting up now, gathering articles that would help my readers be more informed about mineral makeup.
Watch out for this is not simply an article-stack site. This blog is gonna be fun, filled with colors, news, and makeovers!
I’m hoping contests, too! *hint hint*
Well, back to my article hunting!
Tata for now
