More Mineral Makeup Sales

I admit – my biggest inspiration when it comes to makeup is my mom – as I was growing up, i would always be in awe when I see her in perfect full coverage makeup. Now, it’s my turn to give her gifts of makeup – of course, I give her mineral makeup all the time because she somehow got tired of wearing heavy-feeling makeup, and I convinced her that mineral makeup feels very very light on the skin. She also taught me that a darker shade of foundation is nicer – so that explains my fondness for getting tans and keeping a variety of shades of mineral foundation ( but really, lately, I’ve been just wanting darker shades haha! )

Coastalscents Mineral Makeup Pink Friday Sale

I was home on a Saturday night. Must have been the headache induced by my statistics class earlier in the day that made me just want to have some quality time with myself. And what better way to nurse a headache than to play with mineral makeup!

So I cleaned my face and did the usual routine, sans sunblock (it was already 8pm that time). It was also a good opportunity to test the sample of Coastalscents foundation in Honey light tan. I wasn’t expecting it to be a match, but it was! It blended well with my skin despite the fact that I just had a major breakout, thanks to my upcoming monthly period. And let me tell you, Coastalscents foundation is by far the most finely milled I have ever used! Just by looking at the pot, there is no chunkiness or clumps of minerals.

Back to my eye look, I was thinking of something pinkish to go with Valerie Beauty MPM’s in Wink and Karma. I then reached for Meow Scandal Eyes in Tenacious, described as “Peach w/golden bronze shimmer.” It’s one of my fave lid colors as it complements neutrals, even greens! Using my eye shadow brush, I applied it on my whole lid.
