Bare Escentuals has come up with another new product again. For those who don’t like applying sunscreens because they feel icky should have no excuse to take this extra step in taking care of their skin against aging and skin cancer, because Bare Escentuals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen is powder-based.
Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen has a weightless, breathable formula that won’t clog pores or cause breakouts. The Micronized Titanium Dioxide mineral physically shields against UVA/UVB rays to help prevent premature skin aging and sun damage. Plus, it’s infused with healthy vitamins, Aloe Vera Extract, and antioxidants to nourish and soothe sun-exposed skin.
It’s available in three shades ( light, medium, and dark ), and should be nice if worn right after moisturizer. Colorescience and Peter Thomas Roth have these sunscreens in powdered form already, so more or less, the powdered sunscreens are starting to be great alternatives. In all honesty, I’m not fan of cream-based products at all, and this is just quite appealing to me. One thing about it though – did they have to include bismuth oxychloride in this formulation? I think it’s already enough that they have it in their foundation for the sheen. If they had just taken out that ingredient, it would be appealing to more, specially those who are keen and careful with ingredients, and having very sensitive skin.
Let’s see how it goes! Anyone of you tried? Let me know !

i tried the new bare essentials natural spf @ sephora and walked around with it on for the whole day. i liked it a lot. it gave me a nice glow and didnt feel heavy. the only problem was i had a few new pimples the next day. not sure if its this product or the brush cleaner the lady @ sephora used on it.
We sell bare Minerals here at elements Boutique in Missouri and it is the best Mineral product on the market. As an esthetician, I used this product for 2 years before we started selling it. EVERYONE loves it and has seen the glow it gives the skin AND how well it heals blemishes. Great Stuff!
