I thought that mineral makeup was just huge in the U.S., moreso in the Philippines. When I landed in Singapore, I already packed full sizes of my favorite mineral foundations, mineral blushes, and ziploc baggies of my favorite multipurpose minerals. Little did I know that there were mineral makeup brands being sold here!

One of them is Bare Escentuals. I think Bare Escentuals is not yet available anywhere in Asia in retail stores ( in Manila, we have online stores ) , but Singapore, because Sephora houses the brand. Right now, Sephora is in Singapore, in Ngee Ann City, Takashimaya Mall, at the heart of Orchard Road, my most favorite place to shop in this wonderful country! ( whose national past time , I think, includes shopping as well! I love it! )

When I checked the display, it was a rack full of mineral glimmers, mineral foundations, mineral veils, and mineral blushes. I also saw boxes of Bare Escentuals Starter Sets being sold.

Well, looks like mineral makeup is going to invade Asia little by little!

   Mineral make-up is indeed gaining momentum in Singapore. In fact, it started out with YoungBlood being available, then drugstore brands (Maybelline) started coming in the market and with BodyShop last year. True Colours also at Takashimaya also carries a mineral makeup line (I forgot the brand). But yes, Sephora is indeed a godsend! However, a lot of people I know order their make-up online, and EverydayMinerals has quite a following here in Singapore due to its affordability and quality!

   Im glad that im able to purchase the bareminerals make-up here in singapore. I was waiting for this golden opportunity as im nearly running out of my mineral make-up which i bought from us. Im addicted to this bareminerals. Its so easy and an excellent light make-up. Im visiting sephora soon to get my bareminerals. Thanks bareminerals, you are the best
