One great news that I’ve heard from my friend is that Aromaleigh, one of the really good mineral makeup brands out there, is going to start shipping internationally pretty soon. I’m so excited because I sure know what I’m going to get, and it’s their Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder.
HDTV’s all the rage, and it sure has brought with it the demand for really flawless and perfect makeup application. Everything has to be perfect that even a close-up should look flawless, without streaky makeup, pores, and fine lines. Makeup For Ever has come up with its HD Powder that is formulated with silica, and well, did I hear silica? Oh yes, it’s a well-known mineral in the mineral makeup world! I love, love silica!
Aromaleigh Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder is also a high resolution powder that is silica based, that promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and imperfections. Light-reflecting silica does the magic. It’s also said to be very light. It’s a finishing powder, and I think it can also help with oil control because silica keeps our oilies at bay.
Will this fare just like the Makeup For Ever’s? I’m very very curious, and optimistic as well, because of its price of only $ 13.75, a very very affordable alternative! I can’t wait to try this!

I got the sample sized ultra resolution powder in clear from Aromaleigh and have been “test-driving” it for the last few days. It really is very nice once you get past the fact that it’s really “dusty.” Be careful when you dip your brush in to retrieve some; it’s so light that a cloud of powder will fill your bathroom if you aren’t careful!! LOL. But, it really does work well - the effect stood up through hot, humid weather and motorcycle travel, which, as those of you who ride know, can destroy the perfect face in all of 30 seconds sometimes! Definitely try this out.
