Turquoise, our resident lippie addict, all just got hooked with my recommendation to try the Aromaleigh Lipgloss in Yum!
If you really want to know why I call her the mother of all lippie addicts, her makeup kit that she brings to work looks like this.

Well, let’s hear her rave about the Pure Shine Gloss!
——
When it comes to makeup, I absolutely LOVE lippies. As early as eight years old, I would play with my mom’s lipsticks. My Mom gave me my first lipstick. I still use that color to this day (a newer tube, of course). In high school, my classmates and I were not allowed to wear makeup. Most of my classmates would apply pressed powder, but I was more into sheer lip gloss, neutral colored lipstick, and tinted lip balm.
I recently rediscovered my love for lippies when I started working. I was excited to try Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss, my first lip color from a mineral makeup company. I didn’t know what to expect at first. Once I tried the product, I saw what I was missing for so long. The lip gloss has the best qualities of lip gloss and lip stick. It has the shine and sheen of lip gloss, and the pigmentation and staying power of lipstick. Other lip glosses rely on their stickiness and waxiness for staying power. Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss is not as sticky as your typical lip gloss. Aromaleigh’s glosses contain moisture-binding botanicals such as aloe, monoi de tahiti, olive oil, rosehip oil, and apricot kernel oil to give your lips all-day moisture while jojoba-based polymers provide shine. Just like other Aromaleigh products, Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss combines science, premium natural ingredients, fine cosmetic grade mineral pigments, and every woman’s need to look and feel their absolute best!
I tried Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss in Yum, “a medium pink with buff undertones (cool/neutral)”. I was initially hesitant to try this shade because the swatch in the website looked dark. The Mineral Makeup Girl encouraged me to try Yum, because she likes it. The swatches in this blog and Shades of U were enough to convince me to try it.
I prefer shades that are either nude or midtone neutral pink. Once I opened my package of Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss in Yum, I instantly loved the color. I was even happier when I applied it on my lips. It’s really a MLBB (My Lips But Better) color. It wasn’t too neutral or too dark. Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss in Yum looks great alone of with other lip colors. Yum’s chocolate and orange scent lives up to the shade’s name, and it tastes really yummy. I’m not a big fan of chocolate and orange, but this lip gloss is an exception.
Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss has everything I hoped for in lip color: Good staying power, high pigmentation, love midtone neutral pink, a beautiful shine and a great scent. I totally agree with The Mineral Makeup Girl on Yum. It’s my first time to buy lip color from a mineral makeup company, but I doubt this will be my last. I love Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip gloss in Yum so much; I want to get another tube once I run out, or better yet, right now!

Crissy, how were you able to get hold of a tube from Aromaleigh? I’ve been lemming for their lippies for so long but they don’t ship internationally.
