A Very Full Mineral Makeup Makeover

I know, I know, I haven’t been posting! My sincere apologies to my readers of The Mineral Makeup Blog! I owe you lots! I’ve been too engrossed with makeup school, and trying to perfect the art of seamless eye makeup that I hardly sleep anymore. Haha!

Anyway, just a treat to my readers, I’ve made a full mineral makeover of my sister using mineral makeup that I’ve never featured before here ( at least, the items! ). The reviews of some of them will be up within the week.

The subject of my makeover is my ever-up for anything little sister Suzie who’s in college. She’s allergic to alot of things that’s why I only let her use mineral makeup, and nothing else. As she got home from school, I asked her if I could make her over for this entry, and she gladly agreed. I’ve been applying makeup for her ever since makeup touched her skin, and I’d be glad to do her makeup for the rest of my life.

Here’s her before pic,

and I used the following products on her,

Face :
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Mineral Foundation in Medium to Tan
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Blush in Pure Plum
Larenim Mineral Foundation in 12W to contour the face, nose, jawline, and hairline
Erth Fix for the redness ( this is a yellow color corrector or Erth Minerals‘ )

Eyes :

Mineralogie
Brown Eyeshadow for the brows
Aromaleigh Eye Primer as base
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers for Eyes in Sand 40 ( the bronze shade all over the lid )
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers for Eyes in Pebble 50 ( the shimmery brown shade to contour the crease )
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers for Eyes in Sand 40 ( the light gold shade to highlight )
Bare Escentuals Liner Shadow in Bark to line

Lips :

Lumiere Lumi Lips in Moccachino

The result,

( a baby’s now a ladeh! )

The look I aimed for Suzie is a day look that can also pass for a night look. The foundation applied on her was just very sheer - just fit for school, as I applied Erth Fix on her cheeks using a blush brush to combat the dryness. The eyeshadow is shimmery but very sheer, and the eyeliner just defines the whole look and brought out her eyes. I winged it outwards to lift her droopy eyes ( which is like mine ). The lipgloss is very sheer and is a your-lips-but-glossier look.

How do you like it?
