The last review I did on the Artdeco Mineral Foundation was when I used their tester at the local mall, and spend hours observing my skin. Now that I’ve got me a full pot of Artdeco Mineral Foundation, I was able to observe, and review it for a whole day’s roadtest!
What I’ve noticed as I applied it on my skin was that the coverage was indeed medium, and it was very, very buildable. I was able to use a powder brush, even a synthetic one, that wasn’t the best makeup brush for buffing ( just because I was in a hurry and my makeup brushes were nowhere to be found that time ), and apply the foundation flawlessy. The texture is between coarse and fine, so I was able to apply a layer of mineral foundation as base, concealer ( currently using Cosminology ), another layer of mineral foundation, sprayed Nu Skin 180 Moisture Mist ( an anti-aging moisture mist ), and setting it with a sheer layer of the mineral foundation again.
The result was a semi-full coverage look on me that I was able to be ready for a day of field work as I am with sales. My shade was #4, it’s for light to medium skin tones, neutral, in my opinion, that made me look a bit fairer because the cold weather has definitely paled up my skin from being medium shaded.
What I loved about the Artdeco Mineral Foundation this time is its staying power. I left at around 1pm, with mineral makeup on, and I came home at around 7 pm, with my face still very much flawless and fine. I’m just so impressed and happy that I have a full pot with me, that I can consider wearing in an everyday basis!
And by the way, it has bismuth oxychloride, but I didn’t itch. So it’s a case to case basis if you can actually tolerate this mineral foundation, but as for me, I like it very much. This must be the best mineral foundation I’ve ever found inside a department store, for now!
